The Lagelu Local Government Legislative Leader and Councillor representing Ward 5, Hon. Idogbe Aduragbemi, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Ward 5, Lagelu Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigerians at large on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
Hon. Idogbe, in his Independence Day goodwill message, described the anniversary as a significant occasion for Nigerians to celebrate the nation’s journey while reflecting on the sacrifices, struggles and achievements that have shaped the country since independence.
He noted that while the nation is currently passing through economic challenges that have affected individuals, families and businesses, Nigerians must continue to demonstrate the resilience, patience and determination for which they are known.
According to him, the strength of Nigeria lies in the people and their ability to remain united and hopeful even in challenging times.
The Legislative Leader particularly called on the people of Ward 5 and other residents of Lagelu Local Government to continue supporting one another, maintaining peace and contributing positively to the development of their communities.
He stressed that nation-building is not solely the responsibility of government, but a collective duty requiring the contributions of citizens at every level.

He also prayed for continued peace, stability, economic prosperity and progress across Nigeria, while expressing optimism that the country will emerge stronger from its present challenges.
The Ward 5 Councillor used the occasion to appreciate the people for their continued support and cooperation, assuring them of his commitment to effective representation and service to the community.
He wished the people of Ward 5, Lagelu Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigerians at home and abroad a peaceful and memorable 66th Independence Anniversary.
