The Councilor representing Ward 1 in Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Bello Afeez Olanrewaju, has extended his warm congratulations to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) consensus candidates who recently emerged ahead of the forthcoming local government election, describing their emergence as a victory for democracy, party unity, and collective progress.
Hon. Bello specifically congratulated the party’s Chairmanship Consensus Candidate, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, the Vice Chairmanship Consensus Candidate, Hon. Raji Sadiq, as well as all the fourteen (14) consensus councilorship candidates across the wards of Lagelu Local Government.
He also commended the party leadership, elders, stakeholders, delegates, and members for embracing the spirit of consensus, maturity, and peaceful dialogue throughout the process, noting that the outcome reflected the commitment of the APM family to unity and victory.
According to him, the successful consensus arrangement has further strengthened the party ahead of the forthcoming local government election and has positioned Lagelu APM as a united and formidable political force.
Hon. Bello expressed confidence in the leadership capacity, competence, and dedication of the consensus candidates, stating that they possess the experience and vision required to consolidate on the developmental strides already witnessed across the local government.
He urged all party faithful, supporters, youths, women, and stakeholders to put aside every personal interest, remain united, and work collectively towards ensuring a resounding victory for all APM candidates at the polls.
