The Political Head and Administrator of Lagelu West LCDA, Hon. Gbenga Alade OLODO, has felicitated with Christians and residents of the council area on the occasion of Easter, urging them to embrace the virtues of love, sacrifice, peace and unity symbolized by the season.
In his Easter message released on Sunday, Hon. OLODO described the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a powerful reminder of hope, renewal and triumph over challenges, noting that the season offers a unique opportunity for reflection and rededication to the collective progress of society.
He called on the people of Lagelu West LCDA to continue to live in harmony with one another, irrespective of political, religious or social differences, stressing that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and cooperation.
According to him, “Easter is a season that teaches us the enduring values of sacrifice, compassion and faith in a better tomorrow. It is my heartfelt appeal to our people to remain steadfast, united and hopeful as we continue to work together for the growth and advancement of Lagelu West LCDA.”
Hon. OLODO further reassured residents of his administration’s unwavering commitment to grassroots development, improved welfare and people-oriented governance, adding that the council remains focused on delivering democratic dividends that will positively impact lives across the LCDA.
He also used the occasion to pray for continued peace, prosperity and divine blessings upon every family in Lagelu West LCDA and Oyo State at large.
