The Legislative Leader of Lagelu Local Government and Councillor representing Ward 5, Hon. Aduragbemi Idogbe, has congratulated the Lagelu Consensus Candidate, Hon. Olajide Akintunde popularly known as AKT, on the successful obtaining of his nomination form at the Allied People’s Movement (APM) Party House in Oyo State.
Hon. Idogbe described the development as a major milestone ahead of the 2027 general election, noting that the overwhelming endorsement and support enjoyed by AKT across Lagelu Local Government is a reflection of his credibility, grassroots connection, and unwavering commitment to the progress of the people.
According to the Legislative Leader, the emergence of Hon. Olajide Akintunde AKT as the consensus candidate remains a clear indication that party leaders, stakeholders, youths, women, and the entire political structure in Lagelu have confidence in his leadership capacity and representation.
He commended the peaceful and united process that led to the endorsement of AKT, stressing that the collective decision of the people will further strengthen the chances of victory for the party in the forthcoming election.
