The Supervisory Councillor for Transport in Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Teslim Badmus popularly known as TESSY, has congratulated Hon. Olajide Akintunde AKT representing Lagelu State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, following his successful obtaining of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) nomination form ahead of the 2027 general election.
Hon. TESSY described the development as a clear reflection of the overwhelming love, acceptance and confidence reposed in Hon. AKT by the people of Lagelu Local Government, party leaders, stakeholders and loyal supporters across the constituency.
According to him, Hon. AKT’s emergence as the consensus candidate of Lagelu political family further confirms his outstanding leadership qualities, grassroots connection, legislative competence and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Lagelu State Constituency.
He noted that the atmosphere at the Oyo APM Party House during the nomination form collection was filled with excitement and unity, stressing that the massive support received by Hon. AKT symbolizes the beginning of greater victories for the party ahead of the 2027 polls.
Hon. TESSY commended Governor Seyi Makinde-led political structure and party stakeholders for ensuring peace, harmony and collective understanding within the party, adding that such unity would further strengthen the chances of victory for the PDP/APM alliance in the coming election.
He expressed confidence that Hon. AKT would continue to deliver quality representation, impactful constituency projects and people-oriented leadership if re-elected in 2027.
The transport supervisory councillor therefore urged party faithful and residents of Lagelu Local Government to remain steadfast, united and committed to the continued progress of the constituency and Oyo State at large.
