Baale Eleruko, Olawatosin Olusegun Oladimeji SEGELU, has warmly congratulated the newly installed Iyaloja of Igbo-Elerin, Chief Mrs. Mojisola Anike Ogundeji, following her official installation by the Council of Igbo-Elerin Baales during the grand finale of the 9th Igbo-Elerin Day Celebration held yesterday.
In his congratulatory message, Baale Eleruko described the installation of Chief Mrs. Ogundeji as a well-deserved honour and a recognition of her unwavering commitment, leadership qualities, and immense contributions to the growth of commerce, community development, and women empowerment within Igbo-Elerin and its environs.
He expressed confidence that her emergence as Iyaloja would usher in a new era of progress, unity, and prosperity for traders and residents of the community.
According to him, “Chief Mrs. Mojisola Anike Ogundeji has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication to the development of Igbo-Elerin. Her installation as Iyaloja is a testament to her years of service and commitment to the people. I congratulate her and pray for a successful and impactful reign.”
Baale SEGELU also extended appreciation to the Council of Igbo-Elerin Baales for what he described as a thoughtful and visionary decision in entrusting the revered traditional market leadership position to a woman of proven integrity and excellence.
The celebration was further made memorable as Baale Eleruko himself, Olawatosin Olusegun Oladimeji SEGELU, was honoured with a prestigious award as the Youngest Baale, in recognition of his remarkable leadership strides, dedication to community service, and commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of the land.
