The Acting Estate Director of Lagelu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Comrade ESV Olanrewaju Semiu (MNIVS, RSV), has extended warm congratulations to the lawmaker representing Lagelu State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olajide Akintunde, popularly known as AKT, on his emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) consensus candidate for a third term.
In a congratulatory statement made available to apollomedia.com.ng, Comrade Olanrewaju described the development as a well-deserved recognition of exemplary leadership, dedication, and impactful representation that Hon. AKT has consistently demonstrated over the years.
According to him, the consensus endorsement by party leaders and stakeholders in Lagelu Local Government is a clear reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in the lawmaker’s capacity to continue delivering quality representation and effective leadership for the people.
He particularly lauded Hon. AKT for his sterling performance as the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters and State Honours, noting that the legislator has remained a friendly, accessible, and supportive representative to local government staff and grassroots administrators across the state.
Comrade Olanrewaju further praised AKT’s intelligence, legislative competence, and remarkable achievements in office, stressing that his contributions have significantly strengthened governance and development at the grassroots level.
