The Supervisor for Transport in Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Teslim Badmus TESSY, has congratulated the lawmaker representing Lagelu State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olajide Akintunde (AKT), on his consensus selection as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for a third-term re-election bid.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, Hon. TESSY described AKT’s emergence through the party’s consensus arrangement as a clear testament to his outstanding leadership, sterling performance, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Lagelu State Constituency.
He noted that the decision of party leaders and stakeholders to unanimously endorse AKT reflects the confidence reposed in his capacity to continue delivering quality representation and effective legislative service to the people.
According to him, Hon. AKT has over the years distinguished himself as a dedicated representative whose people-oriented projects, empowerment initiatives, and legislative contributions have continued to impact positively on the lives of constituents across Lagelu.
Hon. TESSY further commended the leadership of the PDP in Lagelu Local Government and Oyo State for ensuring a peaceful and united consensus process, describing it as a victory for democracy, party unity, and progressive governance.
