The Supervisory Councillor on Security in Lagelu Local Government and Local Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Otunba Bioku Olusegun Benjamin, popularly known as Double Six, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the local government on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a goodwill message made available to the press, Otunba Bioku congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, describing the period as one of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to the service of humanity.
He commended the discipline, patience, and devotion demonstrated by Muslims throughout the fasting period, noting that such virtues are essential for fostering peace, unity, and sustainable development within Lagelu Local Government and beyond.
The PDP chieftain urged adherents of Islam to sustain the lessons of Ramadan by promoting harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect among all residents, regardless of religious or political affiliations. He emphasized the need for continued prayers for the peace, security, and progress of Lagelu, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
Otunba Bioku further reassured residents of his unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property in his capacity as Supervisory Councillor on Security, while also strengthening grassroots political engagement as the PDP Local Secretary.
