Eid-el-Fitr Greetings from Hon. Idogbe Aduragbemi Emmanuel, Leader, Lagelu Legislative Arm: Calls for Peaceful Coexistence, Love and Tolerance
Hon. Idogbe Aduragbemi Emmanuel congratulates all Muslim faithfuls of Lagelu Local Government, especially those in Ward 5, on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a message released through his media aide, he extended warm greetings and urged all faithful to uphold the virtues of peace, unity, and tolerance. The statement reads:
“The Holy Month of Ramadan is very significant to Muslims across the world as one of the major pillars of Islam, which teaches abstinence from worldly pleasures, steadfastness in prayers, and total submission to the will of Allah in line with the Quranic injunctions.”
“I want to admonish us all not to allow the prayers and fasting observed during the Holy Month to go to waste. Let us continue to live in that state of grace and ensure that its impact reflects in our words, actions, and relationships with others.”
“Very importantly, in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Month, I urge us all to continue to live in love, peace, and sacrifice for one another. It is only through this spirit that we can move forward as a people and as a community.”
