In a spirit of celebration marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, has urged Nigerians on renewal of commitment to the nation- emphasizing unity, progress, and national pride.

In a new statement by his office on national independence day, the council chairman reflected on Nigeria’s journey since 1960, acknowledging the challenges faced and the resilience of the Nigerian people. He urged citizens to remain steadfast in their commitment to building a better future for the community and the nation.

“We stand today not just to celebrate our independence, but to reaffirm our dedication to the values of peace, unity, and progress,” Hon. Kamorudeen stated. “As we look towards the future, let us work together to overcome our challenges and harness the potential of our great nation.”

Recounting on the importance of good good governance, Hon. Kamorudeen also highlighted ongoing initiatives by his administration aimed at improving infrastructure, education, health services, and entrepreneurship within the local government area- encouraging all residents to actively participate in community development.
