The leaders across 14 wards in Lagelu local government led by former Commissioner Taliat Oribayo Okeyode and Elder kehinde Fabunmi popularly addressed as ‘Kenfab’ has extended their heartfelt condolences to his Excellency Engineer Oluseyi Makinde on the demise of his eldest brother, Engnr Sunday Makinde.
In a condolence statement issued and made available to the press by the duo, expressed shock in the passing of the decease, noting that Engnr Sunday Makinde’s passing wouldn’t only be felt by the family but also to the place setter’s state and Nigeria as a whole.
They prayed that God would grant Governor Makinde and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“This is a great loss. The news of the death of the seasoned Engineer was shocking to us as the Governor’s family has lost a beloved soul, their patriarch. The people of Oyo State stand with His Excellency and his family during this difficult period. We pray to the Lord to grant you all strength and comfort in the face of this irreparable loss,” they prayed.
