Oyo state house assembly legislature representing Lagelu state constituency, Hon Olajide Akintunde Emmanuel AKT, has expressed his deepest condolences to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, over the passing of his eldest brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde earlier this morning.
Engineer Makinde, who was 65 years old, died on Friday, January 24, 2025, Adeoyo general hospital.
In a condolence message, Hon AKT described Engineer Sunday Makinde’s death as a great loss not only to the Makinde family but also to the people of Oyo State.
He prayed that God would grant Governor Makinde and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“Please accept my sincerest sympathies during this difficult time. May Almighty God comfort and strengthen you and your family, and may He grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
“May the fond memories of your brother be a source of solace, and may his legacy continue to inspire and guide you.
“Once again, I offer my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. May you find peace and strength in the days ahead.
