The recent sworn-in Lagelu local government supervisory councilor, Hon Olutunde Benedict has extended gratitude to the executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, Leaders of Lagelu local government on his appointment.
In his statement, Hon Benedict acknowledged the efforts of Lagelu local government chairman Hon Kamorudeen, honorable representing Lagelu State Constituency, Hon Olajide Akintunde AKT, Oyo State PDP Women leader, Chief Wulemotu Ibitoye, Olori-Ebi Omituntun political dynasty, Chief Babatunde Tijani, Chief Macadoff, Com. Oribayo Okeyode, Elder kehinde Fabunmi and leaders across the 14 wards for the trust and believe they had in him to count him worthy of the appointment.

In his acceptance remarks, Hon Benedict reiterate his commitment and vowed of good use of his office to commemorate and replicate the effort of the council Chairman in bringing the dividend of democracy to the books and crannies of the indigenes and residents of Lagelu local government.

“On behalf of my family, I want to express my gratitude to the executive governor of Oyo State, Engnr Oluwaseyi Makinde, Council Chairman, Hon Kamorudeen, Lagelu State legislature, State women leader, Olori-Ebi Omituntun political dynasty, Macadoff chairman, leaders and party faithfuls.
“I want to assure everyone of my commitment, loyalty to the party, party first in decision taking- which has been prioritized by the council Chairman ever since he assumed the office”.-He said
