Oyo State House of assembly party whip, Hon. Olajide Akintunde AKT and member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Lagelu State Constituency, has lauded Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for his unprecedented effort in mass recruitment for the state’s Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).

In a press released late hour on Tuesday, Hon AKT described the governor’s initiative as a demonstration of his commitment to the welfare and progress of the people of Oyo State. According to the lawmaker, Governor Makinde’s focus on providing job opportunities for numerous candidates in SUBEB and TESCOM has been a monumental achievement that has addressed unemployment and improved educational standards across the state.
As the House of assembly party whip and Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy matter and State Honors, Hon. AKT highlighted the governor’s leadership as exemplary, noting that Governor Makinde’s approach to governance is focused on human development, infrastructural growth, and sustainable economic policies.

“Under Governor Makinde, the state has witnessed significant progress, which is unmatched in the history of Oyo State since its creation. Hon AKT further described Governor Seyi Makinde as the “best performing governor in the history of Oyo State,” commending him for his foresight in tackling critical issues, including education, healthcare, and employment.
