The Lagelu local government former Councilors’ forum has showered praises on the honorable member representing Lagelu State Constituency, distinguish Hon. Olajide Akintunde AKT for his unrelenting support he has always displayed.
This came up during their monthly meeting held in honour and to celebrate one their ex legislative member, Hon. Busari Oladayo’s birthday party at his residence.
Earlier in his remarks, the former leader of Lagelu Legislative arm, Hon. Hassan Kabiru Alasalu pinpointed some leaders who has been supporting agent to the former Councilors after they left office. In his words, he described Hon AKT as an institution for all to learn and emulate. Hon. Alasalu stressed further, Hon Akintunde is a man of his words who had never compromise anyone for his personal ambition gain. A friend in need is actually a friend indeed.Â
Hon. Ogunrinwale Olutoba from ward 11 emphasized much on unity and task every members to remains calm and work for the progress of the party. He described PDP as finger that fed us and mustn’t be neglected.
He however appreciated Engnr Macadoff for always supporting the forum both financially and morally noted that his advise remains best gifts throughout our regime.Â
Hon. Ajibade implored every members to see the progress of their ward as their priority. In his speech, “2027 is around the corners all what it takes to sustain power must be everyone’s objectives.
“We should learn from Edo political saga, a divided house will be difficult to fight and conquered. Everyone should let go of the past and look upward to a better future”.- He stated.
