Lagelu local government Supervisory Councilor for Education, Hon Abiade Rotimi has on behalf of the beneficiaries appreciated the philanthropic gesture of Agbaakin of Olorunda-abaa and Mayegun of Akoboland Chief Benedict Akika bestowed on the members of Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF) Akinyele branch.

Hon Abiade stated that Oloye Benedict Akika (who’s the founder of the forum) has been at the forefront of community and human capacity development, providing support to various initiatives and projects.

He emphasized that the founder’s latest empowerment programs are a continuation of his efforts to uplift and empower members of the foundation with gifting of the refrigerator, sewing machine, grounding machine, food items and cash.

He however recognized Agbaakin’s usual empowerment schemes as an initiative designed to equip members with necessary resources and skills to succeed in their respective endeavor.

Hon Abiade, While congratulating and imploring the beneficiaries, Yekeen Arowolo (grounding machine), Omobadewa Hannah (Sewing machine), Bolanle Raufu (Chest Freezer) and other member who got cash and consolation prizes to make judiciously use of the items to meet to the aim that established the empowerment scheme.
