Oyo assembly Lawmaker, representing Lagelu State Constituency, Hon Olajide Akintunde AKT has joined citizens and residents of Ibadanland to rejoice with the people of Ibadan and Oyo State at large on the coronation of 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Akinloye Owolabi Ige-Olakuleyin1.
Hon Olajide Akintunde AKT, as the Chairman house committee on local government, Chieftaincy Matters and State Honors expressed his Satisfaction in the choosing and process at which Olubadan is been installed.
He stressed that today’s coronation is a momentous occasion, steeped in tradition and history. Noting that his ascending to the throne will continue to usher in peace and prosperity to the land.
“On this momentous occasion of your coronation, I wish to extend my warmest congratulations to His Imperial Majesty Oba Akinloye Owolabi Ige-Olakulehin 1, may your reign be marked by progress, peace, and prosperity for Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigerians as a whole.”- He said
He commends Gov Seyi Makinde for the respect and contribution he had towards the protection and love for Yoruba culture and our traditional heritage.
