The Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government, Mr. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has dispatched health professionals, and environmentalists to local communities, villages, and markets for the awareness of ongoing cholera outbreak, and sensitization on primary prevention within and around the local government area.

In a statement made available by his office, the council chairman was said to have met with local health professionals and environmentalists on response and preventive measures to the ongoing cholera crises that is assaulting the nation.
In his remark, Mr. Kamorudeen Mudashiru assured the public of all possible efforts by the local government, in response to the outbreak.

Reaching out to indigenes and residents of the local government, the council chairman said the resurgence of cholera outbreak in the nation- is a reminder of the significance of our environment, and our public health system.
He has unequivocally urged residents and indigenes to take to preventive measures, and be vigilant.
“In this time of outbreak- each and everyone of us; as members of communities, as parents, guidance, as market men and women within and around Lagelu local government- we all are going to have to be vigilant, and keep a healthy environment, and take to necessary preventive measures”, he remarked.
