The Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has felicitated with Muslims across Lagelu and around the world on Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a statement issued by his office on Sunday, the council chairman reflected on the importance of faith and obedience demonstrated to God by prophet Ibrahim (Abraham).
He urged islamic faithfuls to keep honoring the sacrifice, resolve, and commitment to God as characterized by the Eid-el-Kabir.
Congratulating muslims in Lagelu, the executive chairman asked indigenes and residents to keep at being faithful and obedient under the banner of fellowship, to God and to authorities everywhere- in the good interest of the nation.
His statement in brief;
“On this good occasion, I extend my warmest wishes to Muslims across our local government area and around the world on a blessed Eid al-Adha”.
“The Eid El Kabir is a time to respect and honor the sacrifice, resolve, and commitment to God demonstrated by prophet Ibrahim, as a testament of his faith”.
“During this time, we must remember to recommit to the ideals of faith and obedience to God and to authorities, everywhere— and as we celebrate, I hope the spirits of community, togetherness, principled service, and compassionate generosity brings good tidings to everyone on this blessed Eid al-Adha”.
