The immediate past councilor ward 11 Lagelu local government, Hon Olutoba Ogunrinwale has expressed his congratulations to his successor Hon Makinde Oyewole alongside with other 13 wards Councillor as they were voted as councilor’s elect, Sworn-in and Inaugurated as the Honorable Councillor representing their various wards in Lagelu local government.
In extension, the formal councilor, Hon Olutoba Ogunrinwale extended his congratulatory message to the newly executive Chairman Hon Mudashiru Kamorudeen and Vice-chairman Hon Olayinka Sadiq, he said they all deserves every commendations and wished that their victory will consolidate the policies and ideology of Hon Olajide Akintunde, AKT-SSP initiative.
He however Extolled two returned councilors among them who got a second term return ticket, Hon Oladele Yekeen and Hon Moshood Ajetunmobi, to use their extraordinary experience to stair and influence the affair of the legislative duty in the council and support the emergence of Hon Aduragbemi Idogbe leadership for the betterment of the residents and citizens Lagelu local government.
His statement reads;
“This victory is a call to duty. It is my wish that with this victory comes the consolidation of massive of 5th years of infrastructure development and progressive policies of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, deepening of the democratic process, advancement of social democracy, promotion of party discipline and guaranteeing of better life for all.
“As you’ll be embarking on this new journey, taking up a public role and be discharging a legislative duty, I’m imploring you all to put the interest of a common man at first.
“I’m using this medium to wish you a successful tenure in your various offices.”- Hon Toba concluded.
