You have laid the very foundation of good governance in the modern era, and that foundation which you laid has awakened the best in Oyo State government.
Five years into OmiTunTun administration— governance delivery has been of a great deal- You had options to choose not to be different; but as an honourable leader, you went for that which will uplift your State, and give to your people, a taste of good governance, a la South-Western Nigeria’s Obafemi Awolowo in the nation’s First Republic.
Yes, your outing as Governor has been one of the bests we’ve had in the nation. With more than enough of scorecards to show in stewardship, you’ve done (all of us; indigenes and residents), your own people proud through the quality of governance that you’ve delivered. And for those who can see clearly, Your Excellency now have the honor of being called the “Chief Architect of Good Governance in Modern Era”.
By way of your superintendence over our great State- to wit, the quality of governance you’re delivering, and now, the continuity of the good works in a second term in office – you have lifted up our heads, and our spirit, as indigenes and residents of this great state! You’ve fired our imagination for a better tomorrow! You’ve demonstrated that all is not lost afterall, for the Oyo State people; and that the People can always be atop their own government! For Oyo State- under your good watch and superintendence, it’s forward ever, backward never!
On this historic day, the government and entire people of Lagelu celebrates in most laudable terms, all of the milestones achieved in these last five years— and pray that God Almighty always, always strengthen your hands for all the good works that lies ahead.
