Lagelu Local Government is at its sober mood as one of the members of Lagelu leader’s forum died on the 28th of April and was buried according to the Islamic rites.
The political functionaries across Lagelu local government gathered together to honour the family of Pa Abdulganiyu Adegoke Ajao who is also known as Baba White to bid him a farewell at the age of 97 years at his residents at Ariku village, Iyana-offa, Lagelu local government.
Immediately after he was buried, While Fidau prayer was going on Alhaja Wulemot, Elder Kehinde Fabunmi, Elder Ayobami Gold described Pa Ajao as a man who served the party PDP with his strength pride and distinction, noting that despite his passion for the party Flag-bearer to come out victorious in the last election it is so he’s not here to reap his labor.
They’ll seeked for forgiveness from the clerics, prayers to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased al-janat fridaous.
In absentia, Hon Olajide Akintunde AKT and Lagelu Chairman elect Hon Mudashiru Kamorudeen in their different condolence message sent through Apollo Media said, Baba White was a great patriot whose love for the Lagelu and his people knew no bounds in his selfless service towards the unity and development of our dear local government.
Their message reads: “He was a great leader who taught us the essence of large-heartedness because he was generally accepted by even those who were not in support of his political party during the last Saturday election that brought about the emergence of Lagelu local government Council officials.
“He was a master of political consensus.
“On behalf of PDP family, We commiserate with his family and all who mourn him. May God grant him eternal rest and grant those he left behind the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.”
